I could use some growing...I just wish it didn't have to hurt so much. "<br /><br />One of my favorite things I heard when I was doing a lot of "growing" is this: it came from Koena, she told me that one day before their big move she and mom were talking. Koena was crying and saying how she didn't want to move and didn't know if she could do it. Mom just hugged her and said, from the greatest grief comes the greatest growth. You can't have one without the other.<br /><br />So maybe you can make that a step in this process for you. Start learning how to not FEAR the pain and emotions you are having and all the things you are facing. I know embracing it probably still a long ways off, but at the very least, learn to look it in the eye. Just stop and say, this is hard, but I can do it so lets get to work!
